Rebecca Romijn (born in New York City) is an American model and actor who is popular as the actor of Mystique as the protagonist from the first three episodes of X-Men. Romijn also appeared in an additional Marvel superhero film 'The Punisher In which she was the character Joan. Romijn began her modelling career at sixteen. Since then, she has posed for major companies including Christian Dior Sports Illustrated and Victoria's Secret. The model spent over 10 years as a model for large fashion houses. Later, she quit her job in pursuit of an acting career. Romijn is most well-known for her work in television rather than Hollywood. She starred as 'Alexis Mead' in the comedy drama "Ugly Betty" and "Jessie Nichols" in the The NTSF SD SUV.' She has also been a participant in the television shows 'King &Maxwell' and The Librarians.
