Annette O'Toole was raised in Houston, Texas at her dance studio run by her mother. As a toddler her appearance on television for the first time when she was two. With her mom and father, who already had 10 years worth of singing, dancing and dancing in her repertoire, travelled to Los Angeles for a whole year when she was thirteen to find out whether she could be successful from show business. Her first gig as a professional performer in just two months: Danny Kaye's show The Danny Kaye Show. She says "I am able to use my experience in singing and dance in many different ways." It's a discipline-building experience that comes from these classes is invaluable for an actor." O'Toole's acting debut was My Three Sons. This was later followed with Gunsmoke. The Mod Squad. And Hawaii Five-O. O'Toole has starred in over 40 shows on television. Despite her popularity both in television and film the theater is her main interest. When her six-year run on Smallville concluded, she decided to pursue theater as her primary focus, that's what she's been doing for the past decade. After moving into New York, she had her first appearance as a seagull in The Sea Gull. She's been in numerous off-Broadway productions, among them Adam Rapp's Kindness Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska and Tennessee Williams' A Lovely Sunday For Creve Couer.
